Welcome to the Delta Music Emporium

Showcasing the musical talents and events in Delta Junction, Alaska.

Delta Music Emporium

Nestled in the vast wilderness of our great state of Alaska, Delta Junction rests at the end of the Alaskan Highway where it intersects with the Richardson Highway. Only 100 miles south of Fairbanks, Delta Junction has many hiking, fishing and hunting adventures waiting to be discovered. But the outdoors is not the only source of adventure. We would like to invite you to experience the great Musical Talents and Artists in our small community. With an ever growing list of performers that include, Larry Fuller (guitar), Jeanette Blalock (lead singer), Michael Kingston (guitar\vocals) etc., and the ever expanding new artists to welcome names like, Trenton Zachgo (guitar\vocals) and many more to come.

Please let us know of any artists that you feel would be willing to showcase their talents and gifts on this website. Use the Visitor Feedback section at the bottom of this page to send us a short bio and contact number so we may interview this person for posting.

Delta High School Music and Drama Students
We have an exciting and action packed spring in front of us. Here are some things that are on the Calendar:

April 30 “Musical! The Bard is Back”

May 5 Spring Concert
DHS Gymnasium 7:00 p.m. DHS Band and Choir

May 8-10 State Solo and Ensemble
Anchorage, for all state qualifying solos and small ensembles.

We could still use more chaperones for the Trip to Nenana in April. If you are interested please let me know. We are rehearsing some exciting music for Region and for our spring concert. Many of the students will be performing their Festival solos on Tuesday the 15th at the Art Science Music Fair. This would be a great opportunity to hear some of the music we will be performing for competition. One of the special numbers we have planned is a Trash Can Band in the style of the music group Stomp. If anyone has any 30 gallon metal trash cans we could borrow for a few weeks it would be appreciated.

Please be aware that in order to attend Region Music festival students must be academically eligible. If a student has any F grades, or two or more D grades they will not be able to travel with us. Please encourage your students to pay attention to their grades in all of their classes and keep current on all of their work. If they need extra help encourage them to ask their teachers!! We always want the students to communicate with us.

Thank You for all of your support this year. The students at DHS are very talented and enjoyable to work with.

In Loving Memory of
Mr. Lawrence Robert "Boo" Fuller

1953~2005

Say goodnight, not good-bye
You will never leave my heart behind
Like the path of a star
I'll be anywhere you are

In the spark that lies beneath the coals
In the secret places inside your soul
Keep my light in your eyes,
Say good night, not good-bye

You are everything you want to be
So just let your heart reach to me
I'll be right by your side
Say goodnight.....
.... not good-bye.
